After spending the last 2 months doing a deep dive on the web3 real estate space, I am ready to synthesize my thoughts and start presenting my early formulated views. I plan on publishing in the next couple of weeks a supplimental post which establishes the framework for categorizing the emergent players in this space.

Buying Land In The Metaverse | Fifth Wall (YouTube) - If you want to ease into virtual land purchase and the metaverse, this relatively short video with Fifth Wall partner and Parcl’s David Carr is a great place to start.
Mike Majlak Uses NFT To Buy $4.1M LA Mansion (Dexerto) - YouTuber Mike Majlak used his BYAC NFT as collateral for a loan from Arcade for the down payment. Amazing looking property (I approve of this purchase).
Zaha Hadid Architects Reveals Its "Cyber-Urban" Metaverse City (YouTube) - This is the sort of location I wish existed in the real world. Ultra modern design and useful spaces.
Catawba Digital Economic Zone (CDEZ) - A special economic zone for crypto companies that sits on two acres of land on the Catawba Nation’s reservation in North and South Carolina. Its purpose? To start developing a meaningful regulatory framework for crypto and Web3 companies. If all goes as planned, those two acres of land will become the worldwide registration hub for crypto companies.
